In Due Season

Red Rose

“Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Admittedly, I’m a little disoriented this past week…I spent time googling a lot of things for a lot of questions that keep popping on my head. But sometimes, the answer we seek cannot be found anywhere. And the answer could be a stupid one phrase answer that could take you back to your senses. I tend to rush things that it’s so easy to forget to breathe (figuratively speaking :P). It’s so easy to feel frustrated, “why am I still like this?” or something like “when will I ever do some progress?” I guess there’s comfort in believing that there’s a proper time for everything, and that if we keep on keeping on, we’ll eventually be where we wanna be. 🙂

Have a great day!

The Arm Chair

This Bible passage somehow reminded me of our high school arm chairs. We were paired by two. If you are lucky enough, you’ll get to seat beside someone nice. It is really fun if you get to seat beside someone whom you enjoy talking to. But it can get really awkward if you get to seat beside someone you don’t like to be with to the point that you’d rather be alone than seat beside that person! LOL

So, what if we get to seat beside God? Wouldn’t that be wonderful? It is like anything is possible. Enough said.

PS. I really find it hard trying to fix the perspective of that chair since I’m just drawing from memory on how our arm chairs look like. Anyways I hope you enjoy my post today. ^^

I hope you will feel His presence taking care of you today. Happy Easter! 😀

Lizard on the Fence

As I scan through the pages of the Bible looking for an interesting quote that I can draw, the word lizard caught my attention. I didn’t know lizards are mentioned in the Bible! It is something I see everyday on my window. But since my cat is trying to hunt them, they rarely ever show up in my window again, so, I had to go outside to look for one. lol! The lizard didn’t like my attention and it moves around a lot, it probably know I am staring. 😀

This quote just made me think that there is greatness in small things.

Have a blessed day!

Do not give up

No matter how hard things become, do not give up. Keep doing your best even if no one would appreciate. Some may even discourage you from doing the things you are great at. There will always be one or two people in your life who would like to enumerate all the cons and the reasons why what you’re doing isn’t a good idea. But whatever happens, if it is something worth working on, do not give up, rewards will follow. 🙂

Have a great day!

The Stray Cat

“The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV

It is so comforting to know that a higher entity is guarding you and ensuring your safety wherever you go. There’s peace in believing and there’s comfort in knowing that everything has a purpose, that everything happens for a reason. And that every time you fail, someone higher than yourself will be there to help you up, will be there to understand and will be there to lead the way.

As for the drawing, I drew a stray cat because I have always been fascinated by their survival skills. You would wonder how they survive in the streets without a master to take care of them. They know every corner of every street and knows their way. They are like the migratory birds flying in the sky, like a miracle, finds provision – food and place to live.

P.S. I am so amazed at how decreasing the midtone of the drawing intensifies its color. >_<

So, there goes my Bible Sunday post for today. Have a great day! 😀
