The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
Everything happens for a reason. And yeah, that phrase is too cliche. And even though it is overused, it is still difficult for most of us to connect everything that is happening to us whether it is good or bad. There are endless “why’s” floating at the back of our mind that goes unanswered for long periods of time. But eventually, things fall into its proper place. With all the confusions of whatever form that we encounter in our lives, all we need is patience, perseverance and hope that things will go for the best as long as we’re giving what we can to make everything great. 🙂
Have a great day!
There’s just too much noise, chatter and confusion…
Sometimes our thoughts are louder than our surroundings.
Our eyes filter the world according to what our mind perceives.
Whether it’s fear or courage, sadness or joy, it’s for us to decide.
The key to our own mind and heart is in our hands.
Take charge. Drive your life. Find peace.
If your day got nothing great on it, or if you feel like it’s impossible to spot anything good about your day…it’s normal. Even the most optimistic people get down times too. But what separates optimists to those who are not is in the faith believing that great things will come sooner or later and that any hardships are just temporary. And what’s more…you’ll get to appreciate the sunny days mostly after the rainy days. Bad days gotta come as it should to make way for real happiness. Love yourself at your worse or and your best and try to keep on getting better! 🙂
PS: I am really grateful that I saw some familiar faces and new ones that welcomed me back on my previous post. That’s just so great. Thanks for the warm welcome. ♥
Have a great day ahead! 😀
When you hit against the wall,
Don’t let it break you or destroy you.
When you slip on a deep dark pit,
Don’t let it summon you or eat you alive.
When you take a wrong turn and lost your way,
Don’t go insane or make it blow your mind away.
When you fall into the vast unknown ocean of terror and fear,
Don’t let it drown you, swim back up.
Trip and fall, stand up tall.
Challenges are always there,
And so is success.
As long as you bounce back after you fall.
“Don’t leave your job just because your boss is angry with you. Remaining calm solves great problems.” Ecclesiastes 10:4 (NCV)
I was surprised to see that there is actually a quote like that in the Bible. I’m just merely scanning the pages of the Bible looking for an interesting quote. It is surprising to see bits and pieces tackling practical living on it. I thought all Biblical scriptures are just about God. It is also written for us like a guide to our lives.
Most of the time, when someone is mad at us, we get mad too. It’s a natural response. Although if we may be on the wrong side, once we are overly reprimanded for it we tend to defend our wrong doings making it appear right just because we are mad at the way they tell us how wrong we are. I’ve seen it happen many times. Especially if that happens between a boss and an employee. It’s so easy to give in to our anger. It is a force so strong that it can either push us to act or push us to destroy.
I guess it always pay to stay silent when in great anger. It’s when you may say things you might regret later. And, never ever make a decision when mad. Let everything cool down a bit and then act. Doing this can make a big difference.
So, that’s my Bible Sunday post for today. Stay happy! 🙂
Outside the box you are separated,
Could be alone and unappreciated.
Not included in the package,
Left behind from the luggage.
The different, the crazy, the weird, or the loony.
‘You don’t belong here’ they may say.
‘You’re not one of us’ they may add.
All because you’re outside the box.
But oh, how lovely it is to be free~
Outside the box of misery.
The box of expectations telling you what you can’t do.
And demanding you to do what they want you to.
A genius or a loser, that’s what you might be,
Outside the box of mediocrity.
You get to choose which side you will be.
A genius or a loser, take your pick.
But still you can move on to find a new box.
It’s great to belong to the place where you wanna be.
“Never feel shame for trying and failing for he who has never failed is he who has never tried.”
Fail? Who wants to fail? Failure is such an unacceptable term everywhere. Nobody would ever love to be called a failure. But being to much bound by the fear of failure will never ever make us try anything which means we would only be left wondering with the question “What if I tried?” And never trying means never succeeding. Every problems has at least two or more solutions. The only question is…are we willing to try them? Or will we just regard challenging things as something ‘impossible’, ‘cannot be done’ or way beyond our skills.
So, we should not be ashamed of committing mistakes unless you did it on purpose for very very bad things! LOL. No matter how careful we are, there might do one or two mistakes. But that isn’t a good excuse for not being careful! Let’s do our best and then let’s hope we get it right. If not, just try again. 😀
PS: You can check too my two other posts that I posted the same time as I posted this. I had to change the date so that no day will be vacant on my blog calendar. LOL! Argh, I was so busy.
